GTP? The only way they would ask a question about GTP in translation is if that information was provided in the passage. The amount of detail that you need to know about transcription can fit in about 2 paragraphs.
Biology for the new MCAT is highly focused on the passage, diagrams, experiments presented, tables, graphs, etc. Subtle details are not common. On the Members page of our site, you'll find a link to a free AAMC MCAT CBT (3R) or go to www.e-mcat.com. You need to take one of those tests as soon as possible so that you can have confidence in your preparation and so you can avoid studying unnecessary details. Take their latest tests within 2-3 weeks of the real exam. Between 3R and tests 8, 9 and 10, hammer away at the GS exams. Be sure to take very brief notes (1-2 pages) after each test which cover your mistakes and guesses. Always review your notes before doing another test.
Keep up the good work! |
