39) A sample of white phosphorus was reacted with excess Cl2 gas to yield 68.75 grams of phosphorus trichloride. How many discrete P4 molecules were there in the sample?

0.75 x 1023
1.50 x 1023
3.00 x 10-23
2.40 x 10-23

Answer is A, but I got lost after figuring out the mole fraction. I divided Mass yield over Total MW of phosphorus trichloride. I don't know where to go from there, please help!

Hello. What is the origin of this question? If it is from one of the GS MCAT CBTs, then this question should be posted in that thread. Thanks for your understanding.
