Hey guys please help me clearify Ksp and solubility. I understand the whole equilibrium constant part (product over reactant). I am having trouble connecting solubility with solubility product. i.e Lets assume solubility product of NaOH is 10^-6 ( i dont know what this represent other than ratio of product over reactant), and then using Ksp we find that solubility of NaOH is 10^-3 (x^2 = 10^-6; x= 10^-3). I dont know what this means. I would really appriciate if somone could please clearify it for me. Thanks in advance.
