Well, this will certainly ruffle some feathers! Anyways, it just came out last week (2010 Ed.) and here's the story: (1) full color with 3 D diagrams; (2) the only hardcover MCAT book currently in print; (3) 15 previous editions but completely revised with more than 150 new pages; (4) lots of online features come with the book including: 3 full length MCAT CBTs with answers/explanations, 10 hours of teaching videos, chapter review questions, equation lists, etc.; (5) and finally, another reason to generate some more controversy: each chapter in the book starts with 3 boxes which explain: what you need to memorize, what you need to understand and what you don't need to know related to the topic in that chapter. After all, as is too often the case, students who don't have alot of experience with AAMC exams give into anxiety and sometimes overstudy topics which can reduce the overall study efficiency.
