It is true that both A and B describe characteristics of green foxtails as described in the passage. The question is: which of the following would suggest that many different foxtails may have come from the green foxtail?
A: the green foxtail is self-pollinating
or
B: the green foxtail has many different shapes/looks (morphologically heterogenous)
I don't see how A is relevant. However, the many different shapes/looks (B) certainly infers that, over time, different foxtails may evolve.
I hope that helps. |
