| Why is option A) They are single stranded not an appropriate answer. I thought that tRNA molecules were double stranded in some regions to produce the clover leaf shape. Thanks! |

| Yes, tRNA does form a clover leaf shape, however, we are talking about RNA. Since RNA is always single stranded, it does not actually form a double strand in the "clover leaf"; it is only folded on itself while aligning complementary strands, without forming a double stranded molecule. |
