I feel a little shaky on this one. Nowhere does the author say that sociobiologists have been too hasty, and if B is founded in sentence 2 of paragraph 1, how is C not founded in the discussion of moral behavior and spear-throwing that occurs throughout the passage?
Certainly many of these questions are based on what we're supposed to infer from the passage as a whole, and while the author seems ready to question sociobologists a little it seems that he's more interested in understanding what "other factors are at work." |

Answer B is correct, though the word "hasty" is not mentioned directly; it is implied by the second sentence of paragraph 2 since "some sociobiologists have advocated, is by introducing the idea of "epigenetic rules"", meaning that they confirmed the existence of epigenetic rules before they had been proven scientifically.
Answer C cannot be right because it is only ione example and is not discussed throughout the text. |
