Hey these are the other exams I have taken, and these are my scores:
scores listed as (PS,VR,BS)
GS3: (37/52, 27/40, 36/52) - 8,7,9
GS4: (28/52, 29/40, 33/52) - 7,8,8
GS5: (28/52, 31/40, 29/52) - 7,8,9
GS6: (32/52, 26/40, -/52) - 7,7,1
GS7: (26/52, 25/40, 33/52) - 6,6,8
GS 6 BS i lost power to the computer did not save my score for that section.
My scores have been nearly stagnant, and decreasing since GS 1, not sure if I should take the exam dedicated date.
Dr. Ferdinand lectures are extremely helpful when reviewing the question. The videos of each related topic question is posted under each question. His videos clarified many concepts and I would watch them over and over again when not taking a FL, just for the concepts to stick. |

Okay so I just took the aamc #10
PS/VR/BS: 10/6/10
So, I have decided not to take the the march, until I break 30 consistently. People have suggested to take aamc 8-10 which are more representative of the real deal....
Anyways, goodluck to the people taking the exam in march.....I think i've lost it I have been replying to my own posts...... |

Your performance in AAMC test 10 BS and PS was quite good. But it's true that if your aim is 30 then you will need more time before you can feel confident about doing the real thing.
You probably already know from the other threads on this topic, that it is expected that your GS test scores would be lower than your AAMC scores. It is also normal for your GS-7 score to be a bit lower than expected. However, when scores are stagnant over many tests, it suggests that not enough time is being spent studying what you have learned from your entire testing experience before taking another test. There are a number of threads that discuss making your own Gold Notes or you can click on Advice when you are on the Test (CBT) page.
Another area of concern is your VR on AAMC test #10. There are 2 inexpensive books with great advice for verbal: Examkrackers and The Silver Bullet. If you have already used one, then seriously consider the other. Both are available at www.mcatstore.com
Overall, good progress! You can get there will more time, study and practice! |

| Well I just finished reviewing the aamc 10....I made such silly mistakes, could have easily gotten a 12 on both PS and BS....as for verbal.....still gotta work harder....well anyways I brought the Berkeley Review Verbal Reasoning a while back and I am doing worse on their exams, getting way below 50% with them. The questions are not similar whatsoever to the actual aamc's. I would recommend not wasting your time and money. |
