It asks for what causes low blood pressure. Than in the answer explanation it says aldosterone causes an increase in blood pressure.

Not exactly.
| Quote: | | Low blood pressure would normally result in which of the following? |
The question is not asking for the cause of low blood pressure. The question is asking for the consequence of low blood pressure. In a classic feedback loop, low blood pressure will result in mechanisms activated to restore blood pressure back to normal. Such mechanisms include raising aldosterone (ADH). |
