I believe this question is worded incorrectly. The CONJUGATE ACID would be H30+ and the CONJUGATE BASE would be HC03-. The ACID would be H2CO3.
In the question it's asking for the CONJUGATE acid/ base pair. Does this mean conjugate acid + conjugate base pair? If anything I was confused on which base they wanted. But I definitely know that H2CO3 is not the CONJUGATE ACID.
Any clarifications? Thanks! |
