Hi all,

I'm scheduled to take my test on September 9th. Just had a quick question...

My scores for GS (Tests 1-7) range from 23-27. Do you think I could pull off a 26+ on the real test?

Individual section ranges:
PS: 7-10
VR: 7-8
BS: 8-10

Oh and as a side note, I've been using Examkrackers VR (since I've heard GS verbal isn't that representative)..and I've been getting 8s and 9s on those.

Thanksss!!

You are in a very good position to get your desired score. You can look at the threads above where students compare real or practice AAMC scores vs GS scores and you will see that usually students score 1-2 points higher per section on the real MCAT.

Just be sure to make your own personal Gold Notes and review your notes and exam experiences daily before your exam (this is described in several threads below).

Practice tests aren't always a huge indicator of how you will do. It really depends on the practice tests and how hard they are. Sometimes you also can get a really weird MCAT, even though I believe they all are weird. Don't get thrown off by your scores.

It looks like you have plenty of time to keep studying. Create a schedule and stick to it, but also take breaks. Make sure the material you use (like EK) is A+. There is no miracle-drug for the MCAT, you just need to study hard and become better at solving the problems and memorizing some facts/formulas. Careful though, mere memorizing will do nothing.. it's just a supplement in my opinion.

If you have more questions feel free to ask I don't mind lending a helping hand.
