Shocked

This a very simple question, but one that confuses me a little. I dont know if its my server or something, but while looking at the lessons/reviews that are avaiable for us, I was doing the uniformly accelerated problem in the physics lessons, and I couldnt understand why time, which is = 2 sec was not squared in finding the answer for the distance that the object moved....isnt the acceleration suppose to be multiplied by the squared time??
