|
| When trying to address the 2nd task in a writing sample, is it better to provide a real-life example that actually took place in history (i.e. the civil rights movement) or will a hypothetical example suffice? Should I always strive to use a real example? Would I be penalized for hypothesizing a situation? I'm sure it looks better to recount a historical event or occurance- but I'd like some more input. |

A well explored hypothetical situation will get you a good enough score to get into any top med-school. A well explored historical context is going for the gold.
Here are some essays graded by the AAMC: www.futuredoctor.net/sample.shtml |
