At this point in your prep, any review you do should be directed by your exam experience. Practice MCAT CBTs must be your #1, #2 and #3 priorities! 3 hours per section is a reasonable review.
If you make silly mistakes then you must reverse your thinking when reviewing during a test. Instead of thinking: "I'm going to look over my answers to make sure I got it right"; instead, say to yourself: "I probably made a silly mistake, I need to find it". That will help you think more critically during the exam.
There are no specifics about gold notes except: never write things you know (ie F=ma, PV=nRT); always be very, very brief (the whole test should fit on 1-2 pages); always review all your gold notes prior to any new test.
PS AAMC 8, 9 and 10 are considered to be the most similar to the real thing
