There are 8 AAMC MCAT CBTs and 10 GS CBTs. Ideally, you would be doing 1-2 practice MCAT CBTs per week followed, each time, with hours reviewing your performance and creating your 'gold notes.'
In between practice tests, you must review your sciences and verbal sections on a daily basis. How many hours? It depends on your review materials. You spend a week going through your materials and then see how much time you spent and how much time that you have left. That will determine how much time to study daily. Just so you have a perspective: the average student will study 3-6 hours per day for 3-6 months.
Some useful references: if you have the GS DVDs then review the MCAT Study Plan. There are also many helpful threads in this Forum; when you are on the CBT (Exams) page, click on Advice. Good luck! |
