How do you calculate bond order and what does it tell us? I know the formula for bond order, but i'm not how to use it...

However, the concept and equation of bond order would be rather rare for the new MCAT UNLESS this information was specifically given in the passage.

could you perhaps give an example of how we would get a specific bond order because i keep confusing the number of bonding electrons there are and i'm never sure about how many antibonding electrons are at all.

Sorry but we do not review topics which we do not believe are covered in the new MCAT CBT. As we mentioned above, such questions would be posed only in the context of supplying the responses in the passage for the real MCAT.
