| why can't the answer be higher thermal conductivity, as that will make it easier for the liquid to transfer the energy?? |

The question states that the difference in the temperatures is the primary objective.
Increasing thermal conductivity only makes it reach the temperature faster, not increase the overall temperature difference. |
