The explanation to this question does not discuss current, which was specified in the question stem.

Because I=q/t and E=qV, does this mean that the greater the current (I), the greater the subsequent charge(q) and thus the greater the energy (E)? Therefore, because the order of current is P>R>Q, energy follows the same pattern and wavelength follows the inverse of this pattern?

Is this reasoning correct?

No, your reasoning does not work.

In the equation I = q/t, there are 3 variables. So if "I" increases, it does not necessarily mean that "q" increases also. It could mean that "t" decreases. So you can't make those inferences.

Now notice the difference with the following equations:

E = hf
- note that "h" is a constant so there are only 2 variables

v = λ f
- note that for a given wave at constant environmental conditions "v" is constant so again there are only 2 variables

And finally:

The stem and passage together explain that there is a direct relation between current flow, electron motion which comes from the ionizing power which is directly related to the energy. So energy and not current is required to solve the problem.

With experience (pattern recognition), you will find that these 2 equations are often used together on the MCAT and you will look for the chance to use them:

v = λ f and E = hf
