I dont understand from where did you guys realize the amplitude was zero because the dash lines in the graph show a summation that is not zero in amplitude please explain

There are 2 dashed lines in Figure 2. Look very carefully at the dashed line which is labelled "Summation Wave": it is a straight line. Since the 2 sinusoidal waves are ALWAYS equal and opposite at every single point in the graph, that means every +5 has a -5 on the other curve, they will always create a summation wave of 0.
