the answer states that F1 = 2 F2
given the distances the ratio of the torques would be F1(1): F2 (3), can you please explain the way to get the correct answer? |

| The equation that you wrote: F1(1): F2 (3) is an oversimplification because you did not include the weight of the plank. Also, your question refers to Q43. Please check the Q43 thread for a detailed calculation. |
