| Looking at the explanation, the punette squre shows 1/2 of the females having red and 1/2 of the males have white eyes which should be answer C and not B. |

When reading a Punnett square, always read the genotypes as a fraction of the total offspring.
Doing this, B is the correct answer. Answer C does not say ½ OF the females red and ½ OF the males white, it refers to ½ of the total offspring. |
