T1(1.5)(0.04)/0.05 = (6/5)T1
The missing step is to recognize (0.04)/0.05 = 4/5
So T1 (1.5)(4/5) = T1(6/5) |

| Why are the majority of the questions in this passage INTENSE? I thought there were only a few INTENSE questions in a given exam.. |

tell me about it -- after every PS from the GS tests i feel completely demoralized. (which sucks because i think it negatively affects the rest of my test
I hate the manner in which they try to prepare us for the PS.
I think its the most unpractical way to do so. |

There is no such thing is a certain number of intense question per passage nor per exam.
If you have done the AAMC's real past MCAT's that they sell at www.e-mcat.com, you will see that after the test they have a ranking system that indicates how students performed on individual questions. It is clear that sometimes difficult questions are spread out and sometimes the coalesce. There is no pattern and thus we won't create artificial patterns. |

Yea, this passage felt like it came out of nowhere. I cant't imagine the real MCAT will have this many calculations in one passage. It's good practice at least.
Also I answered this particular question without doing much work after realizing if P increases and V decreases, T would most likely increase as well because KE would increase and heat generated has nowhere else to go! |
