C states that "Living in an industrialized capitalist country is not a cause of tuberculosis."
The question is asking: "The author mentions individuals in non-industrialized Marxist countries to make which of the following points?"
Basically, the passage asserts that regardless of environment or social factors, the presence of tubercle bacillus bacteria is the necessary condition for contracting tuberculosis. While C sounds like another way of stating this concept, "A. Post-industrial capitalism is not a necessary precondition for tuberculosis." states the author's points in a more direct and specific manner. |
