Hi,
Why wouldn't the answer be C? Isn't this why many of the people would come to S. Africa for all the goods they had? I only got the impression of the "correct" answer only in the last paragraph. I assumed that since this was only mentioned in the last paragraph that this wasn't the "central" thesis of the passage...
