For example for the following prompt:
Freedom of speech should include acts or opinions that may be objectionable to the majority of people.
Could in the first paragraph you define majority to mean those with the most power and control over a countries resources.
And then in the second paragraph (antithesis) redefine it to mean the largest proportion of people? |

| If you were to make, essentially, differing definitions during your essay, you would get "penalized" in the marking scheme. The most important fault pas is to not clearly address a task; the next most important issue is to write "a unified essay." These 2 points trump technical errors. |
