|
|
I've been receiving 24's on the last 4 GS exams I've taken. the first was with no studying, the last with over a month and half's worth of reading, DvD's, etc.
Not sure what else I can do? I made straight A's in my prereqs and took them recently. I have one month.
My target score is a 30.
Any advice? |

If you take brief notes (Gold Notes as described in the link below) after each test, videos, etc. and you review all those notes from the beginning 2 or 3 times weekly and before every test, overall, scores should improve.
The issue is: are you spending enough time reviewing mistakes and doubts from your exam experience.
Also keep in mind that you will very likely score higher on the real MCAT. You will see a thread above this one discussing GS scores vs real MCAT Scores.
Here is one of many threads mentioning Gold Notes: www.mcat-prep.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3148
The bottom line is that you must consolidate your knowledge before moving on to the next test. |

| Hey, I am in the same boat. I have not improved on my scores. Been scoring around 24 as well.... I have exhausted all my resources, Kaplan, Princeton, GS Examkrackers, Berkeley Review and AAMC's. You name it and I have done it. I feel so incompetent. I scheduled to take first test scheduled this year. And I have been postponing it since then. Not even confident to take the test at all this year. I have no solution to my problem. It Sucks big time. |

Well in terms of which book are most accurately representing the actual AAMC exams.
My main concern was the verbal reasoning that kept my scores that low I dont think I ever gotten above a 6.
So i am reading the atlantic and other recommended magazines to help improve my reading skills. And all the tricks the books tell us to use, arent really working for me in this section. |
