The question mentions the direction of current that always moves from + to -, so I was mistaken that the question was asking for the direction of *ELECTRIC* field (also from + to -).

What is the difference between magnetic force/field and electric field that I need to recognize?

Also, how does the definition of magnetic force/field apply in this question?

Every question for each exam has its own thread. Please don't create new threads for an exam question for 2 reasons: (1) we don't know what question you are referring to; (2) you might find someone else asked a similar question.

Thanks for understanding.
