When you say i took CBT what do you mean? Which test was it (AAMC #?)?

The fact that you were able to get a 7 on GS and an 8 on AAMC 9 should not make you feel stupid. Looking at your MCAT scores is a bit like following the stock market: it will go up and down but overall, with time, there should be an upward trend. Don't worry too much about one score but I think you should reconsider your strategy.

The idea of writing down the purpose of each paragraph seems time consuming and not very helpful but I'll let other students share their experiences with different techniques with you.
