| Admitedly, this question was not easy. The expression "critical size" is suggestive and P2 states that the reaction "will only occur" if the critical size is met. If that is not satisfied then nothing occurs and the number of neutrons becomes irrelevant. |

Passage states 3 neutrons from U235, not U238
"All of the neutrons released during nuclear fission are capable of splitting another 235U nucleus" |

| so just becaues we don't know that the critical size was achieved the answer could not be c)(at least two neutrons from a 235U nucleus splitting anotehr 235U nucleus? |

| There are 2 points, one is the matter of the critical size; and the other point is that "Each reaction produces 3 neutrons" (P2) from U235 to U235 which is not any of the answer choices. |
