The AAMC MCAT’s standard registration fee is $345, and for the Fee Assistance Program (FAP), it's $140. There are three MCAT registration deadlines, detailed in the table below.

1. Read the MCAT Examinee Agreement.

When you register for the MCAT, you will be required to certify that you have read and will abide with the MCAT Examinee Agreement. It is a non-disclosure contract that includes prohibitions on discussion of your test day experience.

2. Learn the testing center regulations and procedures.

3. The following are the only items you will be allowed to bring to the testing room:

• Acceptable ID with your first and last name matching the ones on your MCAT registration
• Noteboard and marker (to be provided by the testing center)
• Foam and wireless earplugs (to be provided by the testing center)
• Storage key (to be provided by the testing center)

4. The following are acceptable IDs in testing centers:

• Government-issued
• Must not be expired, with the expiration date printed on the ID
• Must have a photo and signature
• Must be in English

5. Breaks. You can access only food, water and medication during breaks. You will have two 10-minutes breaks and a 30-minute mid-exam break. During this time, you will not be allowed access to your cell phone or gadget as well as study materials. You should not leave the testing center during breaks.
